| Welcome to the Conestoga Club of Lancaster PA |
Greetings and welcome to the home of the Conestoga Toastmasters Club of Lancaster, PA. Our club was founded in 1959 and has held over 1,000 meetings helping people become more competent speakers to all kinds of audiences. The club cultivates the Toastmasters' principle of providing a positive, educational environment for members to develop their speaking skills for use in the community and business world.

| Speech Contest results |
For those who missed the meeting last night, despite the snowy condition we successfully conducted both the International Speech contest and Evaluation contest. To me every participant was a winner last night for making an effort to take their speaking skill to the next level. I thought all contestants gave outstanding performance, the best I have seen from some of them. For those of us listening in the audience, it was so enjoyable and educational to watch the contest. The winners of the contest are Rafael Rojas (speech contest) and Tony Crocamo (evaluation contest). Rafael and Tony will now represent our club at the Area 10 Contest to be held on Saturday, March 15, starting from 9 am to 12 am, at the Grace Baptist Church, 1899 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA (room 201). Please come out to support our two winners.
I also want to extend my congratulations to both Cindy Cosner and Rafael Rojas for achieving their Competent Communicator status. I would encourage all members to work toward achieving your next Toastmaster milestone by giving as many manual talks as possible. Dave Berndt is doing his best to facilitate your effort in reaching your educational goal by scheduling another Speechathon at the next meeting on March 5.
