About Our Club

UW Toastmasters is a fun, friendly club of students, staff, faculty and community members around the University of Washington.  We meet Wednesdays, 1:30-2:30 pm in the Husky Union Building (HUB), usually room 238, 307, or 340.  Visitors are always welcome!

If this time is inconvenient for you, check out Husky Toastmasters, which meets on Thursdays noon-1:00 in Schmidt Hall.

Besides the easy-speak information, you can find more about our club on our Website

The Toastmasters Mission
A statement of shared values

Every Toastmasters club shares the same mission, clearly defined in the following mission statement:

We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

Through this mission, each Toastmaster gains a clear understanding of the club's purpose, and the organization as a whole benefits from a shared set of values and goals.
