Meeting Formalities

A few weeks ago our reliable SAA couldn't make it to our meeting and texted me just before the meeting started. I walked around the room and asked for volunteers, but to my surprise no one wanted to take on his role. They argued that they had no clue how to open the meeting, although they attned the meeting almost every time. I decided to step up and take on the role and noticed myself that I wasn't 100% sure what to do with the gavel and which words to use.

How to use the Gavel:

Tap the gavel once to open and close the meeting. A firm tap is enough, you’re not trying...
