Welcome to the Arboretum Toastmasters Club!
The Arboretum Toastmasters Club is an organization dedicated to the personal development of its members by providing opportunities to improve their communications and leadership skills.
Whether you're terrified of public speaking or you simply want to improve your skills, Toastmasters is for you. Our members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. We meet once a week for about an hour. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation.
Our club meets weekly on Tuesdays at noon. You will need to check in at the front desk, so plan to arrive at 11:50 AM. (Picture ID REQUIRED)
We invite you to be our guest at our weekly meeting. So come on by to our meeting any Tuesday (except holidays). Our membership is open to anyone interested.
Our club is a fun, safe place to come and practice public speaking. We welcome people at all skill levels, from those with sweaty palms and knocking knees to confident, experienced speakers. You'll learn something from everyone, and the more you take the initiative to get in front of the room, the better you'll become. Toastmasters is also a great networking experience, so come meet our diverse group--it's a great opportunity to make new friends who will love cheering you on!
