Hello,
I have got an office partitioning retail company. It is principally an internet based firm, although I am planning on opening a showroom. Whilst the web business covers office partitioning sales throughout the UK, the showroom will only sell office furniture in Essex and London.
The trouble I have is that my day is by and large taken up on traveling to meet new customers hashing out large scale office partitions, so I will want to employee a salesperson for the salesroom.
In the salesroom I will be selling standard modern office desks, so it should not be too tricky to sell.
The advice I am searching for is what is the typical rate of commission paid for Office Desks sales representative?
Has anyone present had any experience employing sales staff. If so could somebody pass me some advice of how to go about it? If you would like to share your tales please feel free.
