[CLOSED] Problems with speeches showing up as unasigned

Show up okay in the vpe Schedule Speeches chart

 

But not in the meeting, sign up sheet.  It show up as unassigned :

some intermittent issue we've been seeing with speech bookings.

The quickest and most sure way to solve this is to delete the meeting, and recreate it.  Can you let me know what you did to get here?  Presumably a chnage iin tempalte or something?

I have a similar problem for a particular member.  I had her sceduled for a speech on a later week.  When someone cancelled,

I tried to move her up to the February 2  meeting in the second speaker position.  No matter what I do, it will not assign Vangie Ford as the second speaker on that meeting.  I was trying to assign Moments of Truth out of the Successful Club Series.

I suggest that this is an issue becaue the Successful Club Series are EDUCATIONAL projects that are recorded for the Leadership Track - so you will only be able to assign it to an EDUCATIONAL item in the agenda (not a Speaker role)

Thank you!  That did the trick.  I had to add the educational role to the agenda and make the educational role assignable in the club control panel.  Once I did that, the assignment was a piece of cake.
