How do I schedule a member of another club to speak at our meeting?

Hi,

There may be other ways to do this but one way is for them to first log-in, go to your club, select the meeting and click that they will attend the meeting. Then they can be allocated a role. Not quite 'scheduled' but on the agenda none the less.

This does assume that the member has an easy-speak log in.

HTH,

Kit.

I recommend creating a dummy member called "Guest Speaker" and just schedule that everytime you have a guest speaker. We had the same problem, and we have a new guest speaker at every meeting. It was too tedious to get all their usernames everytime (and a number of them weren't on EasySpeak).

The problem with creating a dummy member called "Guest Speaker" is that your speaker's personal records will be incomplete when their regular VPE comes to submit an award.

If they have taken the time to visit your club and make a speech/take a role you surely owe it to them to ask if they already have a user id and take a few seconds to link them to your club as 'Visiting Toastmaster' or 'Guest Speaker' etc?
This also means that they will show up on the agenda screen as potentially visiting again making it easier for you to re-invite and for them to re-visit
