Hi Malcolm,
There use to be a button to record when a member gave a manual speech at an external event outside of the club. I don't know when it disappeared but now I have several members asking how they can be credited for speeches they have given outside of the club. How do we do this now?

Cheers.

It's still there Dave:

The member or VPE need to put the speech assignment into the queue,
The VPE can then record the date that the speech was delivered by looking at the member's "Requested and Scheduled Speeches" in their PROFILE (click on their name in the Memberlist or Member Charts to get there)

The button that you are looking for is an arrow on the far right of the screen.

(this option is only available on the member's profile)

As Vice President of Education I am not seeing an arrow next to the speech that is in the queue or any way to post external speeches.

The 'external' arrow is ONLY visible if you look at their personal list of requested speeches at the foot of their profile (and are logged in as VPE etc etc).
One way to get to that screen is to click on their name in the memberlist or on one of the charts.

There was a minor bug reported this week from another District installation of the software:
Someone who is a member of multiple clubs and has made the speech available for 'Any club' needs to select a club so that the VPE for that club can record it as delivered. (Not a common occurance and now on the bug-fix list)
