Hi,

I am the system admin for my club and also the president.  It seems during a meeting I am the only person who can see the "Add User" button.  I need the rest of my officers to have this ability when guests come to a meeting and I am not there.  How can I accomplish this in easy speak?

However I would question the 'all officers' assertion.
It's always been my experience that if everyone CAN do something you end up that nobody actually DOES do it. Sad

I suggest that this is a function of the VP-M in most clubs who would then follow up with the e-mail "Hope you enjoyed it, love to see you next week...."  and manage the list of visitors across to 'mailing list' and 'past interest' after several attempts to get them to come back

Thanks for the reply and the link.  I was able to make the changes required. 

While I can understand your concern I do disagree only becuase of how we structure the meetings in our club.  Each week we have a roll called Officer in Charge.  I want our officers to be able to add new users so we can use the power of easy speak to know when they come, how often and to fill in the rolls if they choose to participate.  If we can do this real time it will add to a better overall meeting experience. 

 

I appreciate the suggestion on following up with visitors. We always have our VPM follow up with new visitors the following week but this is outside of the tool.  That is a process item specific to Toastmasters.  :)
