About Our Club |
Statistically Speaking was established in 2008, and in 2016 the club was opened to all comers. We are supported by Stats NZ, New Zealand's National Statistics Agency, and are based in Glimer Terrace, Wellington, New Zealand. We look forward to not only supporting Toastmasters in developing speaking and leadership skills, but also using the club to build links between Stats NZ and both other central and local government organisations and private businesses.
Our club number is 1153385 and we are a part of Area 3, Division E, District 72. |

The Toastmasters Mission A statement of shared values
Every Toastmasters club shares the same mission, clearly defined in the following mission statement:
We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
Through this mission, each Toastmaster gains a clear understanding of the club's purpose, and the organization as a whole benefits from a shared set of values and goals.
