About Our Club

Welcome to the Central Florida Facilitators

 

The Central Florida Facilitators was formed on June 30, 2003. The club was originally sponsored by the Society for Training and Development.  We have attained the President's Distinguished Award (the highest award given by Toastmasters to a club) every year since 2003!  An indication of the caliber membership and Leadership program provided by Toastmasters International.

 We pride ourselves in the accomplishments of our members in Public Speaking and Leadership.  Having distinguished themselves not only within the Toastmasters organization but in business organizations as well.  We have a strong mentorship program affording new members an expedient way to learn from a more experienced mentor and become a competent speaker.

A statement of shared values

Every Toastmasters club shares the same mission, clearly defined in the following mission statement:

We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

Through this mission, each Toastmaster gains a clear understanding of the club's purpose, and the organization as a whole benefits from a shared set of values and goals.
