Are you ready to be a mentor?  This is the presentation I made several months back to introduce the mentoring program.  Since then the list of mentors has grown, but not enough to support the increase in new members!  

By the way, this is not an example of an excellent speech (I think I can do better), but this is posted here for the content.

I'm not a lawyer, but since Google just notified me that their terms of service and privacy statement is being updated, I figured I would say something about Securely Speaking Toastmasters' privacy rules on this web site, in plain English.  We're probably required to disclose our privacy policy anyway due to some obscure California law.

As the VP-M, I enter the information from your membership form into the Toastmasters International web site.  The TI web site has its own privacy rules, which I won't go into here, except to say that only the information you provided on your form...

Our district has the "Club Ambassadors Program" (CAP) to help the district officers get to know their local clubs at scale.  By visiting the Calendar link on the left side, you can see some of the other local club meetings (note, SWAN Toastmasters is right here at Symantec and meets on Thursdays, though that doesn't appear on that calendar).  

Contact the club ahead of time and volunteer to be their general evaluator.  They will be very appreciative of the outside perspective.
