Can I take home the stoplight?
Perhaps you\''ve wished that as you practiced you had someone in the back of the room with the stoplight to tell you whether it\''s time to wrap up, or whether you need to fill the available time with Q&A? Rather than taking home the stoplight, I\''ve got a better solution for you than the stoplight. District 4 Toastmasters hosts an automatic stoplight. You tell it what your time targets are, and the computer screen will be your timer.

Closing your speech (this is important!)
The only thing more important than how you open your speech (which is your first impression on the audience!) is how you close it. Why? It's the thing your audience is most going to remember. It leaves the audience in a certain mood, and affects how the audience will remember you.
...but Darren LaCroix explains it better than I could:
