Michael Bay needs to attend Toastmasters

Making fun of people isn't really my style.

...but I do forward newsworthy articles, so here's one titled "Michael Bay needs to attend Toastmasters" (in reference to him freaking out on stage at CES when he went off-script, the teleprompter operator couldn't find him, and he walked off stage only a minute into his presentation)

What should I speak about?

Most seasoned Toastmasters will tell you that you should speak about what you know.  But perhaps you wonder, like I did recently, do I have enough to talk about to speak 10 times for 6 minutes each and keep people interested?  or, can I come up with enough content to fill at least 5 minutes of time?  

Here are some ideas:

  • Toastmasters Magazine has lots of ideas.  For example this month's cover story is about how technology haa changed public speaking.
  • Wikipedia is as great a resourxe for little known facts as it is a source for speech content
