2018 has been a year full of great stuff, challenges and blessings. It is safe to say that the last one year, I have been the most honored to serve you all together with my team. We are ending the year with another team that is going to lead us through 2019. I am so excited about what they have in stock for us. To the incoming team of officers, I wish you all the best and I have faith in all of you under the guidance
of our President. Each one of you has got great talent and leadership skills. I am over the moon with excitement about what we are all going
to achieve this year. 2019 is the year we conquer and bring home all trophies! I would love to see every member come back next year with so much strength and passion to achieve everything and anything they want.
I would like to thank, once again, every one of us for having been so supportive and participated in the activities that were planned this year. To the Team I served with, I say, GOD BLESS YOU! Happy New Year Toastmasters. Vanessa Rukundo, CC, ALB President, 2018.

1Rwanda Pros toastmasters’ meeting-19th August, 2015
New venue, fresh air and brighter room; those are what we had on August 19, 2015. Tucked in the leafy suburbs of Kiyovu right in the heart of Kigali is Kay Sun Restaurant. All was new and with the best of it, 25 members and visitors attended the meeting to usher in a new dawn, The speaker of the night spoke from the heart has he dissected the sour topic of inheritance, a subject which has seen brothers hack each to death. Sylivin delivered a fantastic speech. Material inheritance is not a good idea. Most of us think that we should always get things from our parents.
With so many examples from the Bible he showed us how material inheritance is not a good idea. Talking about Joseph with his brothers and their fight for wealth he convinced us how we should not rely on our parents’ inheritance. The speaker suggested that we should be proud of love, character and personality from our parents. We had a lot of visitors. Dr. Willy won the crown of bringing in a lot of visitors.
Ely the toastmaster of the day was amazing. He read for us a poem on public speaking as an art. As the theme of the night we gained a lot from his poem.
The grammarian gave us a new vocabulary ALLEGIANCE.

It’s not everyday that through story telling we get to learn a new thing or two, but when that day comes to pass then know its Joshua Tahinduka on the podium. If there is something I usually look forward to witnessing at 1 Rwanda Pros Club meeting, is the bright faces that usually envelopes members’ faces as they trickled into the meeting room one after the other. Visitors come in with harshen faces looking like they were walking into dangerous territory but alas!...

1Rwanda Toastmasters Pros Club
Thursday, April 2, 2015
Just from the enthusiasm in the room, it looked like it was going to be a special meeting, a meeting which will go into records of 1 Rwanda Pros Toastmasters Club as a special event. The irony is that nothing is scripted beforehand rather roles previously distributed to the members are coordinated by the General evaluator as is the norm. The grammarian of the day Netlyn Bernard gave us a very likeable word ‘entertain’ as...
