SEVERE WEATHER POLICY
It is the responsibility of each member or guest to adequately prepare for and determine whether they are safely able to get to/from the meeting site in time of severe weather.
As a guide line only, severe weather is defined as follows: Snow and/or ice, flood, rain/thunderstorm and/or tornado damage which significantly impedes the normal flow of traffic. Generally speaking, heavy rains unaccompanied by flooding or low temperatures unaccompanied by snow and/or ice do not constitute severe weather.
It is expected that each member or guest with an assigned meeting role notify the meeting Toastmaster, as early as possible, of their inability to get to/from the meeting site safely in order to perform their role. |
