February 2019 is Toastmaster Month in Fort St John and across BC.
February 28 is Achievers Business Challenge - Table Topics with a Twist. Business owners are invited to bring their elevator pitch for constructive feedback from our club members! There will be lots of time to network and share some pizza! Guests will also learn how Toastmasters will help their business thrive. Openhouse begins 6:45 pm mingle & greet Meeting 7 - 8:30 pm.

New Year! New Opportunities to Lead!

Achievers started 2019 with some WOW! Our first meeting gave us time to catch up on our holdidays! A goal was reached with our 20th member Josiah!
Our next event is the joint club contests for International Speech & Evaluation with Mile 0 Communcators in Dawson Creek at Northern Lights College, Thursday January 31, 2019. 6:30 PM we will start briefings.

easy-Speak - 10th Anniversary edition

We are now celebrating the 10th anniversary of easy-Speak club management system.
It was on the 4th May 2005, at a meeting of Bicester Speakers in the UK, that I first presented a very simple version of what we now know as easy-Speak.
Like most Toastmasters, I led a busy life and felt there must be a better way to organise meetings without a flurry of panic phone calls the night before, and the inevitable disruption caused by last minute changes.
