We're an online club that supports the communication and discussion of assorted topics in the interest of experiential learning for the development of communication and leadership skills. Information presented at the meeting (in oral or slide format) may be reported and discussed by attendees and spectators via blogs, Twitter, or other formats. However, we require that this be done respectfully and without direct reproduction of visual materials (e.g. no posting photos of slides) unless permission is obtained from the presenter or they have already made this information freely available in an open-source forum. Presenters not wanting information to be broadcast should explicitly state so in their talk.

Please be advised that our meetings are recorded and will be made available to members of Ablaze only. Photographs / screenshots will be taken during the meeting for the use of the Ablaze website, Ablaze marketing materials and other Toastmaster related publication channels. By participating in this meeting, you consent to Ablaze recording the meeting and taking photographs / screenshots and using your image and likeness.

About Our Club

"A New Zealand inspired online club from a South African lady helped by a Welshman, an Aussie and a Kiwi…"

No it’s not the start of a bad bar joke - it’s a flavour of the diversity we expect of our online club. Join us and see how virtual meetings are helping grow the credibility and skills that make the Toastmaster framework the leading way to grow confidence as a speaker and be a great leader.

Looking to improve your speaking and leadership skills? Ignite your career? Gain the confidence to speak up?

You’ve come to the right place. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped more than 4 million people just like you, from around the world, become more confident speakers and leaders.

The Toastmasters Mission
A statement of shared values

Every Toastmasters club shares the same mission, clearly defined in the following mission statement:

We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater selfconfidence and personal growth.

Through this mission, each Toastmaster gains a clear understanding of the club's purpose, and the organization as a whole benefits from a shared set of values and goals.
