Before I get into some general announcements for the week, I want to congratulate all of the participants from our speech and evaluation contests this past week. I was so impressed with the caliber of speeches and speech evaluations delivered during the contest. All of you who participated should be very proud of yourselves! Flo Sherpenisse won first place in our speech contest; in the evaluation contest, Brenda Ball won first place, Kate Millar won second place, and Carina Wang won third place. Well done everyone!
