The Division J "Of The Year" awards were presented at the Division J Humourous Speech & Table Topics Contest on Friday October 18. Two Westhills members were recognized for their contributions!
Bob Gibennus was honored with the Toastmaster of the Year for Division J, while Jen Coyne was recognized for her amazing work as the Vice President of Public Relations.
Both of them will be nominated for the same awards at the District 42 Convention in Fort McMurray on November 1-3.

A fun evening was had by all at the Area J46 Humourous Speech and Table Topics Contest, hosted by our club!
Congratulations to Speakers Edge for sweeping the awards!
Humourous Speech winner was Harry Iyer, who shared a hilarious story about his right of passage as an immigrant to Canada - his first time being pulled over by a police man.

At the October 7 Area J46 contest, last year's Area Governor Nevin Henn presented the Of The Year awards for Area J46 for the 2012-2013 Toastmasters Year - and Westhills members won all three!
