Our fall speech contest is scheduled for Sept. 22, 2014

Any member in good standing is eligible to compete in one or both contests.

Humorous Speech: a 5-7 minute speech on a topic of your choice. Have some fun with this one!

Table Topics: Each contestant will deliver a 1-2 minute impromptu speech. All contestants will speak on the same topic. This is a great contest for anyone to enter, especially if it's your first time competing.

We are also looking for volunteers to fill the following roles: Judge, Chief Judge, Sergeant at Arms, Timer, Ballot Counter.

Go to the sign up for meetings page or contact the contest organizer, Melody Chan, to register as a contestant or a contest official. If you want to be a judge, you need to register with Melody directly. We don't register judges on the sign up sheet for confidentiality reasons. The contestants shouldn't know who the judges are.
