Westhills Toastmasters Club congratulates Peggy Gibennus on achieving her Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) Designation.
Peggy will be officially presented her DTM Award by our District Governor, Chuck LeBlanc at the District 42 Spring Convention in Saskatoon on May 4.
Distinguished Toastmaster is the highest educational award available in Toastmasters and fewer than 1% of people who join Toastmasters ever achieve this level.
Since Peggy joined Toastmasters in the fall of 2000, she has been a member of 4 clubs, serving on the executive in all of them. She has delivered over 40 manual speeches as well as numerous educational sessions. She has facilitated workshops at district conferences and conventions and served a term as Area J45 Governor.
She has served as a club mentor for a number of new clubs and was a founding and charter member of two: Silver Springs Toastmasters and Talk of the Hill.
She currently serves on the executive committee of Westhills Toastmasters in the role of Immediate Past President.
Peggy is the most sought after mentor in our club and is a delight at the meetings. Congratulations, Peggy! We are so proud of you.
P.S. We will now have to call you and Bob, Mr. and Mrs. DTM!
