Welcome to Cedar Park 4-H Gavel Club!

We are sponsored by Lakeline Toastmaster club and members of Williamson County 4-H. Our club is a 503C non-profit organization FEIN 35-2662070.  Any donations to our Club is a tax deductable donation that you can claim on your Tax Returns. Our Treasurer will be happy to write you a reciept.

MEMBERSHIP FEES:  The 4-H year is September 1st through August 31stTotal expense per member is $50.00  Our club Dues are a flat rate of $20 per person per year.  This pays for our club expenses and facility rent. We recite the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H pledge  at each of our meetings."I pledge my HEAD to clearer thinking, my HEART to greater loyalty, my HANDS to larger service, my HEALTH to better living, for my club, my community, my country and my world."

Objective:To establish an atmosphere of friendliness and support among participants.  To help participants develope their speaking skills.  "Learn by Doing"

The mission of a Toastmaster Gavel Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

Explanation of meeting: Our meeting has three parts. Starting with club business. Second is our Public Speaking portion of prepared speeches followed by Table topics. Third we introduce the General Evaluator, whose role is to oversee the evaluations.  (senior member age 12 and up or coordinator). The purpose of evaluation is to provide feedback and help us improve. Lastly, The Toastmaster will end the meeting by asking our guests how they found us, and what they liked about our meeting. Then President will fill the roles for our next meeting and announcements.
