THEME: A DAY AT THE IMPROV!

This is a special Improv Meeting. NO traditional roles will be filled, there are no speeches, and your feedback will be immediate and in the form of laughter and clapping How does it work?  

Why improv? Learning and implementing improv skills dramatically improves your speaking, negotiating and leadership abilities. That's why we practice Table Topics.

We will have several scenes during which you will have several opportunities to observe, make suggestions, and participate. 

Please:

  1. Understand what you must do: While participating in an improv, our job is to put all our attention on our partner(s). Watch what they are doing and listen to what they are saying.
  2.  Know the Rules of improv: 1. Agree (aka say, "Yes.") 2. Say, "Yes and..." 3. There are no mistakes. ****In the clip below, Tina Fey explains what these rules mean and how they are applied. These rules will also be supplied on your agenda for your convenience.
  3.  Please bring 1 prop. This can be a spoon, a hat, a tricycle, a blow horn... anything!!!
